Hiya,

So, I looked at those candy bars and they contain oats and I can't find anywhere that they're actually gluten-free. Did you contact the company to ask about that?

I have been in touch with the owner- I could have sworn they said Gluten Free right on the package. I will double check just to make sure :)

Thanks for letting me know about Seasonal Sundays – what a
great idea for a linky! I love your crepe recipe, and thank you for
introducing me to Jenn's lovely blog too.

My favorite would definitely be Avocado. I grew up surrounded by groves in the Avocado capital of the world. And water chestnuts make me think of choking down casseroles in the 70's. Bleh.

My favorite seasonal ingredient would be greens – I like them all. Collard, Spinach, Kale, Chard, yum. My least favorite would be venison. Even back when I ate mammals, choking down something so gamey was not enjoyable. Ick.

Brittany – thank you again for the gracious invitation to
participate in Seasonal Sunday! You don't need to enter me to win
the candy bars (I've given up candy along with grains and vegetable
oils LOL), but my favorite seasonal food from your list is probably
Kabocha squash – I only bought 2 during The Great Winter Squash
Hunt Of 2010 and regret it; they are delicious. My least favorite?
Grains of any kind…we just don't get along. :)

Thank you EVERYONE for participating. I get so exciting seeing the recipes linked up each week :) So much inspiration!

To answer the Angell Bar question above- the bars contain Oats.. which may pose some cross contamination issues for those with Celiac. As I am only Gluten Intolerant and do well with Oats- I had zero problems when I sampled one. I Loved it :)
