Hi Brittany,

This is Scott, Steph’s uncle. It was nice to see you and Rick at the wedding. Just wanted you to know that I think your site is awesome and that I am passing it on to the students and Chef’s in my culinary program.

Be well!!!

Scott

Hi,
I was wondering if you had the answer to whether I can substitute xantham gum with psyllium husk in my bread recipes?

Thx

With some trial and error potentially yes!

I am wondering if you have a recipe for a type of dairy-free cracker forlittle hands. My 1 year old has lactose intolerance and he would love something like Goldfish crackers but looking for something dairy free. Thank you

After reading your story I nearly cried. It’s the exact same minus the diagnosis.
What tests were done to finally diagnose you? I’m guessing you’d had thyroid tests done many times, so were they borderline?

Thanks.

A friend of mine just liked your page on Facebook, and I am SO glad she did! My son has a lactose intolerance, and we suspect that both him and I have a gluten intolerance, so this website was God-send. I’ve been searching through your recipes for the past little while, and have subscribed in every way possible. I can’t wait to try out some of these things. Thank you for creating such an amazing site!

Hi Brittany,
I have to say … I love your books, your website, your recipes … I follow you on FB. Thank you for all you do! I’ve got an odd question for you. I just received the following email from a friend who was texting me last week re: eating Paleo. I tried to educate her the best I could…sent her links to aricles, etc. I believe she mentioned she was going to do some kind of “challenge” but I’m not sure what that meant. Any suggestions as to what I can tell her. My first inclination is to stop calling it a “diet” … to not quit. Yep … I’m asking for a bit of help for her here! Thanks ahead of time.
Here’s her email:
Hey Tanna

Do you honestly feel better on the Paleo diet? I felt so awful and weak!!! I actually had a melt down at work yesterday. It was rather embarrassing. What a horrible day! I still feel incredibly stupid! Anyway, not sure if the diet is to blame for my ridiculous emotions but I went off the diet starting today. I feel more in control now. I was actually craving oatmeal and I don’t even like oatmeal! I am thinking that my body wasn’t made for the Paleo diet.
