I have just been bursting with excitement to share the news of this trip!!  For the first time, I’m hosting a culinary getaway. Its happening this February in Vermont. We’ll be cooking, and eating, and eating some more. Snow Tubing, Ice Skating and I’ll be doing a number of cooking/baking demos all while staying at a beautiful bed and breakfast.  The best part of this trip is that no matter what your dietary restrictions are- they can and will be accommodated All meals will be 100% gluten free + whatever else you need to avoid!  That was important to me- I wanted to make sure this could be a relaxing and fun trip for ANYONE…and being able to eat safely and stress free is so important!

Join me and escape to beautiful Plymouth, VT for a 4 day / 3 night culinary winter retreat  February 27 – March 2, 2014.

Whether it’s a girls weekend or a trip with your spouse, I promise an incredible time that you won’t want to miss!

ABOUT GOOD COMMONS:

Good Commons is located in the village of Plymouth Union, Vermont, at the crossroads between Killington and Okemo ski resorts and the beautiful lakes of the Okemo Valley.

The house is located right off of Route 100 in the heart of Plymouth, VT. Reenergize from a hectic week in the city with a steaming cup of tea and a peaceful night’s rest in a corner of the world where city lights don’t block out the stars and where the sounds of nature take the place of the din of traffic.

At the turn of the 20th century, Good Commons was a country store with a booming business selling groceries, household items and light fare to the village and many travelers making their way through the region. The Brown family took over the store in the 1930s, added an ice cream parlor and sandwich shop, and raised their six children in the home over the next several decades.

Purchased by the current owner in 2006, Good Commons is now a 4700 square foot home that has undergone a complete renovation, combining modern amenities with the country tradition of rest and revitalization that has characterized this house for over 150 years. It is the perfect getaway for city slickers who want to have comfort and elegance within their country retreat while enjoying everything a unique Vermont vacation rental has to offer.
