Raspberry Citrus Smoothie.

This summer is the first in several years that I have been able to enjoy  fruit and have had the energy to work out! (The massive candida infection that I once had, ruined my health for a good several years- getting that under control has made life healthy and happy again. You can read more about my journey in overcoming Candida/Hashimotos here..)

Citrus and raspberries taste incredible together.  I’ve been enjoying this recipe regularly the last few weeks! Being a huge fan of Wellesse’s certified gluten free supplements already, I figured I would give the glucosamine a try to support my joints as I’m starting to train for my first 5k. To no surprise the glucosamine  was delicious, especially in this smoothie recipe!

To make this recipe dairy free- just use a plain yogurt of choice. I highly recommend Amande Almond Yogurt. I’m personally allergic to coconut, but my husband enjoys the various brands of coconut based yogurt available.

Raspberry Citrus Smoothie

  • 2 cups frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (dairy or nondairy)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Wellesse Liquid Glucosamine
  • 8 ice cubes
  • stevia to taste

Combine in a blender and enjoy!
