Cranberry Lemonade Smoothie (Sugar Free)

With the holidays quickly approaching, and my need to bake 24-7 in high gear- I must admit that sometimes I forget to eat. I’ll ignore my hunger until it reaches a critical point when I need something RIGHT away.

Thank goodness for smoothies. In one minute flat and you have an instant glass of sustenance. Sugar is off bounds for me right now,  making a smoothie without can take a little creativity.  Today this recipe is possible thanks to the extremely low glycemic index of fresh cranberries. With only 2 grams of sugar per half cup, I know I’ll be able to enjoy every sip without my blood sugar levels going haywire.

I LOVE adding vitamins to my smoothies. My favorite brand is Wellesse as they are a certified gluten free company!  Their liquid multivitamin tastes fantastic in this recipe. (Plus, its sugar free too!)

Cranberry Lemon Smoothie.

6 Ice Cubes
1/2 Cup Plain Yogurt (any variety: dairy or nondairy)
1/2 Cup frozen cranberries
1-2 Tbs lemon juice (to taste)
1/3- 1/2 Cup Water or Milk (dairy or nondairy)
Stevia to taste.
1 Serving Wellesse Liquid Multivitamin.

In a blender combine all ingredients and process until smooth!
